Our magazine publication serves as a hub of knowledge for individuals interested in Sikh studies, culture, and history, and we are seeking a Website Developer skilled in, or willing to learn, html/css/javascript/WordPress to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Migrate our existing website to a html/css/javascript based platform or WordPress, without loss of existing content.
2. Overhaul the design and functionality of the online marketplace to streamline the ordering and purchasing process.
3. Develop and implement responsive designs to ensure the website and online marketplace are accessible and fully functional across all devices.
4. Optimize the website and marketplace for speed and SEO.
5. Collaborate with our content team to integrate high-quality, relevant content in a visually pleasing and user-friendly manner.
6. Perform regular updates and maintenance on the website to ensure security and functionality.
7. Address and resolve website issues in a timely manner, maintaining high performance and availability.
8. Use analytics and user feedback to implement site improvements.
