Breed Street Elementary was visited by Chancellor Block and Speaker Pérez on Volunteer Day, and volunteers went back to this important site to complete additional requested service work.
The goal was to help beautify the campus for the students of Breed Street Elementary. The principal, Patricia Romero, requested help with the library, as that is the area that needed the most attention. Colorful paint and quotes were used to create an uplifting space in the library. Volunteers painted this area to help transform the space into a better reading and learning environment for all.
