Nourish LA

Nourish LA combats hunger by rescuing food, distributing groceries, supporting urban gardens, and building community partnerships in Los Angeles.

Nourish LA’s Good Karma Gardens (GKG) program will be prepping “The City’s Garden” location at Los Angeles City College for winter planting. The event will include but not be limited to amending garden beds with compost, weeding, planting and more! This is an outdoor activity in an active farm/garden working with soil and using tools such as shovels and pitch forks.

Time: 10am - 1pm

(Please be aware that the time listed is for the actual service project. If you are taking the bus to the project site, we will ask volunteers to meet at a central location beginning at 7am for breakfast and to account for travel time to the project site.)
