NNN-TEST

January 30th, 2017
Nonprofit Networking Night connects UCLA students to public service professionals who are currently recruiting for open internships and jobs in the nonprofit sector.

Hosted by the UCLA Volunteer Center, USAC Community Service Commission, Career Center, Residential Life, Alumni Affairs, and Partnership UCLA, the evening features networking activities and the opportunity to sit down with professionals and other UCLA students. This event allows students and young alumni to connect and network with leaders from the nonprofit and public sector fields. Students who are interested in learning more about or are looking for opportunities (e.g. jobs, internships, etc.) gain valuable insight about a wide variety of positions and organizations in the community. This program provides students with information about ways to get involved outside of and after graduating UCLA. Students are encouraged to think more about their post-graduation goals, allowing them to continue with their academic careers with more focus and intention.

The seventh annual Nonprofit Networking Night will take place on February 1, 2017 at the Covel Grand Horizon Room from 7 – 9 pm.

Participating organizations represent the fields of education, environment, family & children, health, homelessness/poverty, international, public policy/legal, and special needs. A special small career panel will also be held prior to the event on January 25, 2017. Please register below for Nonprofit Networking Night by January 30 and for the career panel by January 23.

Organizations are chosen based on participant interest, opportunities available, and cause areas. The selection process for nonprofit organizations for NNN 2017 has concluded. If you are an organization interested in this event, please check back in November for information about NNN 2018 and visit the nonprofit page for more opportunities to partner with the UCLA Volunteer Center.
