Monarch Habitat Restoration Day

Shine LA and Community Climate Action Day (CCAD) – Los Angeles County are combining efforts to bring together community members to take meaningful action in support of Los Angeles County's green spaces and natural environment. Through hands-on environmental stewardship and climate action, volunteers will help improve habitat conditions, support native plants, and create a healthier environment for monarch butterflies and other pollinators. This volunteer project supports ongoing efforts to restore and maintain monarch butterfly habitats.

Time: 9am - 12:30pm

(Please be aware that the time listed is for the actual service project. If you are taking the bus to the project site, we will ask volunteers to meet at a central location beginning at 7am for breakfast and to account for travel time to the project site.)
