Los Angeles LGBT Center
Over 50 years ago, a group of queer activists envisioned a safer world for LGBTQ+ individuals, leading to the creation of Liberation House. Their dream evolved into the Los Angeles LGBT Center, now the largest LGBTQ+ organization globally. The Center provides comprehensive support, including housing, healthcare, and advocacy, serving nearly 800 employees and countless queer and trans people. With its roots deeply planted in radical activism, the Center continues to champion and celebrate LGBTQ+ rights, striving for a world where everyone can thrive openly and freely.
Our Queerceañera (queer-seh for short) is an inclusive take on the coming-of-age quinceañera tradition throughout Latin America and the United States.
