This year, the Resident Advisory Council of Estrada Courts and community partners will collaborate on UCLA Volunteer Day to clean, repair, and improve the public areas of the public housing development. Some activities include addressing soil or gardens that have been neglected, vandalized, or misused. In some areas, painting over graffiti, picking up junk along streets and resident parking lots. A new playground will be recently installed by September 27th, so there will be an opportunity to beautify the space around the new kids' playground adjacent to the Boys and Girls Club facility attached to the site's gymnasium. Lastly, efforts may include raking up leaves or planting flowers in common areas.

Time: 9am - 12pm PST

(Please be aware that the time listed is for the actual service project. If you are taking the bus to the project site, we will ask volunteers to meet at a central location from 7:30am - 7:45am for breakfast and to account for travel time to the project site.)
