Hong Kong Alumni Network
Join the UCLA Hong Kong Alumni Network for a beach cleanup. Plastic Free Seas is running a Citizen Science project leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to build an open-source model for trash detection that will help to create solutions to the problem of plastic marine pollution. We need volunteers to take pictures of rubbish on the beach (e.g. aluminum can, plastic bottle, straw; instructions will be provided) Volunteers will then upload the photos directly from their phone or computer to Plastic Free Seas. Then after taking the pictures, volunteers will do a beach clean up together.
Time: 11am - 2pm HKT
