Heal The Bay - Nothin' But Nature River Cleanup

heal the bay icon

Heal The Bay is an environmental nonprofit established in 1985 that is dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds in Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy, and clean. For more than three decades, they have been a strong and trusted advocate for the Santa Monica Bay. They protect the coastline, restore our waterways and enact clean water policy to protect public health. For this event, volunteers will help rid the San Gabriel River at Whittier Narrows of harmful plastic pollution before it gets washed downstream to the San Pedro Bay.
