Good Earth Community Garden

The Good Earth Community Garden is a project that is led by the Los Angeles Community Garden Council. This small gem is a staple tool in building a strong and fruitful community. For this event, volunteers will help with various gardening tasks such as preparing the native California plant area, prepare new plot beds, and artistically paint a bulletin board. Gardening, harvesting seeds, watering, turning compost, painting signs, weeding, planting, raking, moving gravel, pruning trees and bushes, and other related tasks.
Time: 9am - 12pm
(Please be aware that the time listed is for the actual service project. If you are taking the bus to the project site, we will ask volunteers to meet at a central location from 7:30am - 7:45am for breakfast and to account for travel time to the project site.)
