Food Finders - Food Rescue and Sort & Pack

Since its inception, Food Finders has grown from rescuing several thousand pounds of food to rescuing millions of pounds of food annually. With the contributions of hundreds of food donors, including L.A. produce mart, grocery stores, corporate kitchens, schools, and other businesses, our program provides food to more than 400 nonprofit partners across five counties. For this event, volunteers will be stationed outdoors to help sort and box food. These boxes will help support those facing food insecurity in various communities within in Southern California.

Age Requirement:Volunteers under the age of 16 will need a parent/guardian present.

*UCLA Volunteer Day will follow all UCLA COVID requirements at each site, including all participants to be masked, vaccinated and/or COVID tested.*
