The Volunteer Center is Hiring an Events Assistant

October 13th, 2014

Every year, the UCLA Volunteer Center organizes dozens of service projects, student leadership events, and recognition ceremonies to thank volunteers for their dedication. From the vast logistics required to mobilize thousands of volunteers for UCLA Volunteer Day, to sending a bus filled with service-minded Bruins to One Bus, One Cause projects, creating high caliber events is a trademark of the Center.

The Events Assistant will aid in the planning and execution of the Center’s signature initiatives. The right candidate will have excellent writing skills and be interested in social good as well as volunteerism. Additionally, candidates should be creative thinkers who are able to handle a variety of duties including event planning, volunteer recruitment and retention, leadership development, research, and more.

The Events Assistant will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to attend weekend service projects, and work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. If you are an exceptional, well-organized student who enjoys event planning, consider applying for the Events Assistant position.
