DepaulUSA Casa Milagrosa

Depaul USA and the Daughters of Charity formed a working group to discern what could be done to address homelessness in Los Angeles. The working group, comprised of Daughters of Charity, homeless service practitioners and representatives of Depaul USA as well as the local Vincentian family, has now opened a day center for a Daughters-owned building in Los Angeles’ Westlake neighborhood: Casa Milagrosa. Volunteers will be beautifying the Non-Profit Center by painting the main entrance wall located in the back of the building and side lower walls. Volunteers will also paint the Logo which will be outlined prior to the event. There will be a garden area and smoking area that will need to be set up. It is the goal for the day to be able to beautify the center to provide guests with a center that feels welcoming and appealing.
