The Latino Student Health Project— a UCLA CPO group— engages students in helping to meet the medical needs of underserved communities and promoting health awareness. Volunteers educate community members as to what can be done to prevent various diseases by disseminating bilingual information and resources at various Los Angeles County locations. Volunteers also travel three times a year to our clinic in Tecate— Mexico— where they work along with medical doctors and professional staff.
