Koreh L.A. Literacy Project at UCLA

September 11th, 2013

Koreh L.A. is the largest volunteer children’s literacy program in the city. Koreh L.A. is a non-sectarian— non-religious program run by the Jewish Federation and Koreh L.A. at UCLA is the program’s first ever university chapter. Over the past 12 years— the program has trained and placed over 10—500 volunteers as reading partners— reaching over 22—000 academically struggling LAUSD students.
