InnoWorks is a student-founded and led 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to providing underserved students with opportunities to explore the real-world links among science and engineering. Volunteers visit local middle schools and discuss the wonders of science through experiments while following the approved curriculum of the national organization. disciplines. They bring together UCLA undergraduates— with higher-education expertise. to middle-school youth to foster development of relationships between UCLA and the community. The program offers undergraduate the opportunity to become involved in mentoring— teaching— and community outreach by focusing on important fields of study with the youth— such as science— technology— engineering— mathematics— and medicine.
