Working with the national buildON organization— the UCLA chapter raises money to build schools in developing countries to empower locals through education. These funds raised are sent overseas to assist with school construction in Mali— Malawi— Nepal— Nicaragua— and Haiti. BuildON volunteers have the life-changing opportunity to travel to one of these countries— live with host families— and participate in the construction of a buildOn school.
