While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect all of us, it is likely to hit hardest in low-income communities that serve the homeless, elderly, and families with children. As a result of this, the need for food security in our communities has risen significantly. It is during these times when we must come together to help our neighbors in need. On Serve LA 2022, we will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items, hygiene products, and monetary donations in the form of gift cards to local supermarkets. These donations will go directly to UCLA students who may be facing food insecurity.

To make this drop-off event as safe and efficient as possible, proper social distancing measures will be in place. Volunteer Center staff will be there to provide curbside service for our community members to safely donate. Simply drive up to the UCLA Luskin Conference Center Turnaround, remain in your car, and a volunteer will be there to greet you and accept your donations. Please see Google Maps for directions to the UCLA Luskin Conference Center Turnaround.

For a complete list of all items that we will be collecting for this drive, please visit the Community Programs Office Food Closet Site.

Time: 9am - 12pm. Please stop by with donated items anytime during these hours.
