Community Organized Relief Effort

CORE is a nonprofit humanitarian organization that responds to disasters around the world. They deliver life-saving resources in the immediate aftermath – and empower communities to be self-reliant in the long run. Join us for urban gardening at Growing Hope Gardens. This space was previously an unused plot of land and is being turned into a garden to grow food and serve as a community space for locals. Activities will include seed starting, seedling transplanting, hand watering of 25 fruit trees, watering garden beds, mulching garden beds, and harvesting.
