The April 15th federal income tax deadline has recently passed. Many Bruin tax filers sought the advice of VITA, which stands for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. Founded in 1987, this student led initiative is supported by the Community Service Commission, and provides free filing assistance for UCLA and the extended Los Angeles community.
