The 24th Annual Santa Monica Festival – Event Volunteer

The Santa Monica Festival is an annual community celebration that takes its inspiration from the dynamic connection between the City’s communities, businesses, art, culture and the environment. The festival highlights this connection through live music and dance, DIY art workshops, earth-friendly artistic vendors, local service offerings by City, environmental and local non-profit organizations, and solutions for a greener, healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.

r Saturday, May 9th, 2015, 11 am – 6 pm

r We are looking for friendly faces to assist our production team with a variety of volunteer opportunities.
r
r Volunteer positions include (but are not limited to):
r Festival Set-Up
r Workshop Assistant
r Bike Hub Assistant
r ”Gopher” / Stage Assistant
r Festival Break-Down
r Festival grounds Clean-Up
r
r Volunteer shifts are approximately 3 and 4 hours each, and are scheduled between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.
r
r If you have a passion for helping the community, work well with others and want to be a part of Santa Monica’s largest celebration of its civic identity, get involved and sign up to volunteer for the 24th Annual Santa Monica Festival! No previous work experience is required.
r

r This post will be removed once volunteer positions have been filled. Volunteers under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by an adult throughout his/her volunteer shift.

r The 24th Annual Santa Monica Festival is presented by the City of Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Division, Community and Cultural Services Department and the Office of Sustainability and the Environment, and produced by Community Arts Resources (CARS).
