Mentoring at Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services

Posted on July 6th, 2015

Location: 3200 Motor Ave. Los Angeles CA 90034
Duration: Ongoing
First Day : Jul 6, 2015

Vista Del Mar is currently seeking dedicated and trustworthy adult volunteers to commit to a one-on-one friendship with an at-risk teen between 12-18 years old. The Relationship Mentor program was created for our residential youth who have little to no contact with their parent or guardian. These teens are commonly placed in our care due to severe cases of abuse, neglect, and abandonment.

We are in great need of Mentors who represent the various demographics of the youth we serve, including diversity in gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnic, racial, religious and cultural backgrounds.

To qualify for this program, Mentors must pass an interview process, be 21 years of age, and pass a criminal background check.
