Mission: To foster communities of talented young leaders to become the next generation of social change agents by engaging in collaborative, on-the ground service with international communities in need. Our vision is to create communities of young leaders that help break the cycle of poverty in undeserved communities around the world. Manna Project International: Ecuador, located just outside of Quito, specializes in educational development via clubs, extracurricular classes, and English learning for the local youth through our community center.
Program Director Position– The Program Director is a 5, 7, or 13 month position and runs the daily operations of the programs.
Summer Intern Position – The Summer Intern comes for a short-time but builds connections and develops professional skills, like Spanish, by spending time in the community. After returning the following semester, they serve as an important contact in the university.
Short-Term Trips – We also offer short-term trips for students/faculty to come to the community center and interact with the community and the different educational programs. The group would choose a certain theme and execute it with Program Directors.
Education/Teaching Methodologies Internship – A unique position that has opened up recently to strengthen our English Teaching curriculum geared towards undergraduates and graduates students looking to gain real-world experience while potentially completing a thesis or practicum hours.
Starting July 15, 2017, we will need a new group of Program Directors that will volunteer for 5, 7, or 13 months.
