VOLUNTEER AT THE L.A. CASH FOR COLLEGE CONVENTION (10/12 – 10/14/2017)
Help L.A. youth prepare for college and career by volunteering at the 16th Annual College & Career Convention
The hallmark of the L.A. Cash for College program, the 14th Annual College & Career Convention will run from October 13-14, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Over the course of two days, 5,000+ youth, family, and community members will participate in college seminars, financial aid workshops, career presentations, and a college and career resource fair. In addition, students will be entered to win one of ten $1,000 scholarships!
The success of this event depends on the support of volunteers like you! Volunteers are needed to help with materials prep, bus arrivals, exhibitor registration, classroom set-up, and greeting and directing students. The following shifts are available:
Thursday, October 12, 2017
• 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Friday, October 13, 2017
• 7:00am – 1:00pm
Saturday, October 14, 2017

As a token of our appreciation, volunteers will receive a Convention t-shirt, lunch, and the chance to win gift cards and fun raffle prizes.
