Fight Hunger at the Brentwood Farmers Market

Posted on June 17th, 2015

Location: Brentwood Farmers Market CA
Duration: Ongoing
First Day : Jun 21, 2015

Food Forward recovers good fresh and healthy food that would otherwise get thrown away and donates it to local food banks. We are at the Brentwood Farmers Market every Sunday from 1 pm – 3 pm collecting donations from Farmers who have extra fruits and vegetables at the end of the market. All of the produce we collect gets donated to food banks in the Brentwood area.

Volunteers pass out boxes to farmers, collect boxes full of fresh produce, and weigh and sort produce to be donated. All you need are comfortable work clothes and shoes. Volunteers must be 12 to participate. 12-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. Email or go to to sign up!
