California Vegetarian Food Festival Returns to LA September 16-17, 2017

Plant-Based Food and Products, Live Music, Film Screening, Fitness, Kids’ Activities & Much More

WHAT: U.S. Veg Corp is bringing the California Vegetarian Food Festival back to Los Angeles to showcase the latest in cutting edge plant-based food and products. The 2-day festival will be a showcase of 100% vegan innovation and goods, with revolutionary plant-based food, products, live music, fitness, kids’ activities, film screening, vegan beer and wine and much more. Food vendors will be offering free samples as well as meals for sale. This year, the charity partner is Best Friends Animal Society.

A screening of the film Walk with Me, a cinematic journey into the world of mindfulness and the Zen Buddhist master Thich Nhat Hanh, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch and directed by Max Pugh and Marc J. Francis, will also take place during the festival. Filmed over three years with unprecedented access, this visceral film is a close look at the global spiritual leader Thich Nhat Hanh and a meditation on a community who have given up all their possessions for a monastic life in rural France.

Walk with Me screening tickets must be purchased separately and are available HERE.

Time Details
The second annual California Vegetarian Food Festival is coming up (September 16 & 17) and we are in need of dedicated volunteers to help out this year.

Please let me know if you may be able to spread the festival information to your group. Our volunteer signup form is here, but if you rather bring a whole group for a particular time slot, I can schedule you in that way.

Help is most needed on:
Friday, September 15th from about 11am-4pm for setup
Saturday September 16th from 8am-10pm for setup, event help, and after-party help
Sunday September 17th from 9am-7pm for event and breakdown help
