Big Sunday’s MLK Day Clothing Collection & Community Breakfast

Posted on January 12th, 2016

Location: 6111 Melrose Avenue Los Angeles CA 90038
Duration: Single Day
Date: Jan 18, 2016

At Big Sunday, we’re often surprised by how many people simply don’t have enough clothes, so we’re hosting a clothing drive for the disadvantaged. Volunteers are needed to count, sort and fold the clothes. We’ll also be enjoying a tasty community breakfast and everyone is invited to meet someone new and participate in our memorable Something in Common photo project. We like to think that this is in the spirit of Dr. King and something he’d have enjoyed – and if you were there last year, you know that it was a blast!

New and gently used work, casual and athletic attire is needed. New socks, underwear and bras are greatly appreciated too! All ages are welcome. Please drop off clothes now through Jan. 18 M-F, 9 am – 5 pm!
