The Maker VISTA Project is a national service project with partners across the US.
Our Maker VISTA Project is focused on transforming education for youth disadvantaged by poverty. As a Project Coordinator, your work onsite will impact the organization and greater community through partnership development, volunteer facilitation, community building, resource creation, educator training, and much more. Maker Ed’s mission is to create more opportunities for all young people to develop confidence, creativity, and interest in learning as a whole through making.
Maker Ed is actively recruiting AmeriCorps VISTA members to serve as Project Coordinators in Los Angeles, CA at Bethune Middle School and 75th Street Elementary. Serve in one of the most vibrant and growing communities in the US!
Passionate individuals who possess initiative and desire to make impact within communities. Self-motivation and commitment to national service via the Maker VISTA project. Maker VISTA members apply what they know, learn what they need, and take on new challenges to grow.
Please apply by following the link to our website and filling out the interest form (click apply).
