2 Feet 4 Paws: Walking Dogs for a Cause

Posted on October 19th, 2015

Location: 3016 S. Hill St. Los Angeles CA 90007
Duration: Ongoing
First Day : Oct 18, 2015

Westside German Shepherd Rescue is a no-kill dog rescue run completely by volunteers. Dogs are pulled from nearby kill shelters to save them from euthanasia and give them a second chance at finding what is affectionately called their “forever home”. Every week, nearly 100 dogs await their opportunity to make a family happy with their doggy-love. In the meantime, the only times these wonderful pups are able to exit their kennels is if volunteers come to the rescue to walk them. A short orientation is required, but afterwards vonunteers can come to the rescue as they please to walk one dog or to stay for the whole day. It’s great exercise for the volunteer and a cherished gift tothe dogs, so everyone wins!
