UCLA Volunteer Appreciation Day

Posted on April 5th, 2011

Did you know UCLA leads the nation in volunteering? Each year, thousands of UCLA students, staff, faculty, and alumni contribute to hundreds of thousands of hours of community service.

On April 12, 2011 (Tuesday of Week 3), wear any shirt that represents your community service, and be thanked with a FREE ASUCLA Restaurant Meal Voucher! Between 10am-2pm, the Volunteer Center Fellows will be walking around campus thanking you for your service and presenting you with a meal voucher (while supplies last). Wear any service-related shirt with pride on April 12th; all students, staff, faculty, alumni, and campus community members are eligible to be thanked for their service and participation to the community. For questions, please email volunteerstf@ucla.edu.
