James West Alumni Center
Students today. Leaders tomorrow. Volunteers for life.
The Volunteer Leadership Program is a UCLA Volunteer Center and Alumni Scholars Club partnership which allows Alumni Scholars to represent UCLA in the Los Angeles community through designing and executing a community service project from start to finish. Project Leaders are tasked to work with a local community partner and an alumni mentor to create a volunteer activity that gives Bruins the opportunity to serve while strengthening relationships between local community partners and the University.
This year, sixteen Project Leaders recruited over 300 volunteers for eight projects to paint, garden, mentor, teach, and beautify the Greater Los Angeles area. We are deeply grateful and proud to have shared such incredible experiences with peers, alumni, staff, and community leaders.

We are inviting you to our celebration of service because of your involvement with the UCLA Volunteer Center, the Alumni Scholars Club, the Volunteer Leadership Program, and your investment in the sixteen UCLA student Project Leaders. We greatly appreciate your support, and would love this opportunity to say thank you!
